I’m a writer, and communication specialist who has spent much of the past twenty years living and working in different parts of the world, from the Sahel to Southeast Asia. My work has taken me to places most people only hear about in the news — but I’ve always been more interested in the lives behind the headlines.
I write because I believe in the quiet power of everyday stories. My memoir, In the Land of Kim – Two Years in North Korea, is a reflection of that: a personal account of life inside one of the most less known countries in the world, told not with judgment, but with curiosity and care.
I’m drawn to stories that make us see differently — more humanly — and I hope that’s what readers will find in my work. (less)
